Ready in Red
Just own the night, like the fourth of July! Cuz, baby, you're a firework! For 2011's first mood-board, what better way to signal readyness and alertness for new opportunities that come our way than the color red? When we see red, we usually stop and take notice as it is the most eye-catching of all in the color spectrum. Hence, stop signs and most danger signals are in the hue. According to colorwheel pro, red also signifies passion, vigor, alertness, and courage. Red is here to ignite our respective creative juices. If red had a taste, it'd be spicy and hot, but also deliciously sweet: red velvet cake, anyone? Ed Westwick channels all of our inner rebels wih (and/or without) a cause with a red blazer. Not willing to go all out red in your outift today? I would punctuate it with red shoelaces or a red scarf or why not snatch up anyone of those red pieces in these month's sales? Then watch and see as eyes gravitate towards you on the street.
